The Clinical Nurse Leader will lead and facilitate the daily operations of the unit by supporting the implementation of evidence-based practice, while serving as a resource within the organization for information, education, and training for the safe and efficient daily operations ensuring optimal care for the patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement unit-based policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and training to staff on evidence-based practices and new technologies to improve patient outcomes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and optimal use of resources.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of improving patient outcomes and reducing costs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field.
- Certification in a relevant specialty, such as CCRN or CNL.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and data analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
