A Home Health Aide (HHA) provides direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse and according to the Aide Plan of Care (POC). Key responsibilities include assisting patients with self-administered medications, taking accurate temperature, pulse, and blood pressure measurements, and reporting abnormal results to the supervisor.

Additional duties include helping patients maintain good personal hygiene, assisting with feeding, and providing necessary skills to safely assist patients with mobility, exercises, positioning, and transfers.

Required Experience/Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide Program within the last 24 months
  • Must meet applicable state certification requirements
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required

Pay Range

The compensation range for this position is $32,500 - $44,700 per year, based on full-time employment and demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
