About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team at Sonepar, a leading electrical and industrial distributor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to electrical assembly and wiring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
  • Cut, strip, and crimp cables according to specifications.
  • Populate panel boards with materials and components according to schematic layouts.
  • Wire panel boards according to wiring diagrams.
  • Operate, print, and attach labels to projects according to labeling diagrams.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot problems with builds to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Perform basic software programming according to customer specifications.
  • Conduct ground bar testing to ensure there are no shortages.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Requirements
  • Electrical, industrial, and/or distribution experience preferred but not required.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.; or 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift certification (internal).
Work Environment
  • Long and varied hours required occasionally.
  • Ability to work mandatory physical inventory.
  • Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environments.
  • Ability to work in dusty conditions.
  • Ability to use power tools, including drills and impact drivers.
Location and Hours

This role is based in Miramar, CA, and requires a 5:00am - 1:30pm schedule.

Compensation

This is a non-exempt position with a salary range of $24.74 per hour, reflecting figures based on the primary location within California.
