Sanitation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in Norwalk, Iowa. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and safety in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise sanitation employees and ensure proper cleaning and inspection of equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high-quality products.
- Provide training and guidance to sanitation staff on safety procedures and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in sanitation or a related field in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience working with USDA or other regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
