Janitorial Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at Allied Universal. As a Janitorial Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations of our facilities, ensuring that our spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train a team of janitorial staff to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure that our facilities are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working order and that inventory levels are adequate.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning operations are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our cleaning services.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a janitorial or facilities management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
