Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. As a Busser, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and Set Tables: Ensure that tables are cleared and set in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist Servers: Provide support to our servers by expediting food and beverages, pre-bussing tables, and resetting tables and dining areas.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in dining and service areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate Effectively: Approach guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner, maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 40 pounds, work in a stand-up position for long periods of time, and move up to 25lbs.
  • Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, with prior experience as a Busser in a full-service, high-volume restaurant preferred but not required.
