Job Title: MRI Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Lufkin, Texas. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
• Maintain equipment and supplies, and perform routine maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist
• Experience working with MRI equipment and diagnostic imaging software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
