About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to join our team at Down To Earth Landscape & Irrigation. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our maintenance crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance crew members, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Develop and implement effective work schedules and plans to meet client needs and deadlines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all crew members are following safety protocols and procedures.
- Manage and maintain equipment and company property, ensuring that all assets are in good working order.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members on new procedures and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with clients, residents, and employees, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance or installation.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience managing crew labor in the landscaping industry.
- Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to pass an MVR check.
- Ability to perform physical work in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
