Residential Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Residential Therapist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a Residential Therapist, you will provide and document psychotherapy services to patients as scheduled, conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions, and maintain documentation of therapy services provided to each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Provide initial treatment planning for patients based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed, revising as necessary.
- Maintain a caseload as assigned and participate in treatment team meetings to facilitate services for patients.
- May provide services in an inpatient or outpatient setting and perform case management, discharge, or aftercare planning as needed.
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
- Master's degree in Social Work or Human Services field from an accredited college or university.
- One to two years' experience working with comparable patient population.
- Requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers or eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider.
- First Aid, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification required.
- Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure preferred.
- Experience may be considered as substitute for license.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
