We are currently offering positions for 2nd (2pm-10pm) and 3rd (10pm-6am) shifts. The starting pay is $24.68/hour after a 60-day period, with additional certification pay and shift premiums of $.50/hr for 2nd shift and $1.50/hr for 3rd shift after four months. This translates to $25.18/hour or $26.18/hour after four months of employment. Additionally, overtime is compensated at time and a half (up to $39/hour) after 8 hours in a day, making this an excellent opportunity for those seeking extra hours and pay. Comprehensive insurance benefits commence on the first day of employment, covering medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision insurance. Overtime and Saturday work may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Manufacturing Production Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dairy and plant-based processing lines. This includes managing equipment, packaging finished products, and conducting various quality checks to meet customer standards.
  • The safety of our food products and our workforce is our top priority. You will be expected to adhere to good manufacturing practices and housekeeping protocols, utilize designated personal protective equipment (such as gloves, hard hats, aprons, etc.), and comply with OSHA safety regulations.
  • Operate cheese processing and wrapping machinery.
  • Perform cleaning duties as required.
  • Complete food production documentation accurately.
  • Utilize computer and production screens effectively.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team and also work independently.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to work well within a team environment.
  • Maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Other relevant work experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Stable employment history.
  • Mechanical aptitude for operating equipment.
Work Schedule:
  • Positions are available for 2nd (2pm-10pm) and 3rd (10pm-6am) shifts, with some mandatory overtime.
  • This role typically operates Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday work.
  • Compensation begins at $22.98/hour, increasing to $24.68/hour after 60 days. Overtime is compensated after 8 hours of work in a day (up to $39/hour).
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 51 pounds frequently.
  • Capability to work in hot and wet conditions during production clean-up.
