About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver Assistant at Tabitha. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our seniors and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
  • Support senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
  • Follow department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
  • Prioritize assignments and make adjustments throughout the shift to meet frequently changing senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs.
  • Perform work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Tabitha.
  • Provide and document basic therapeutic care not requiring nursing judgment, such as obtaining heights, weights, and measuring vital signs.
  • Prepare breakfast, snacks, and other foods requested by/for senior/client.
  • Process senior/client laundry.
  • Evaluate emergency situations and perform CPR when necessary, based on training.
Requirements
  • Valid CNA and/or MA-40 certification.
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of older adults.
  • Desire to provide the highest quality care to promote the well-being and happiness of those we care for and about.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
