Job Summary: The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients in an interdisciplinary environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech and language abilities, using standardized tests and measures as necessary.
  2. Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapies.
  3. Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapeutic services to patients, using a variety of techniques and approaches to promote functional independence and quality of life.
  4. Documentation and Education: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient progress, including assessment results, treatment plans, and educational materials provided to patients and families.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication with patients and families.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification required unless completing a Clinical Fellowship year.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Current BLS Certification mandated.
  • Experience working with patients presenting with disabilities in speech/language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $125,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
