Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hematologist Oncologist to join our team at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and treatment for cancer and blood disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in hematology and oncology.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine or Board eligibility.
  • Current medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Completion of a Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least three years of clinical experience in hematology and oncology.
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
