We are seeking a skilled Skating Instructor to join our team at Lakeville Arenas. As a Skating Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality skating lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging skating lesson plans that cater to diverse skill levels and age groups.
- Monitor the well-being and safety of participants during lessons, ensuring a healthy and inclusive environment.
- Establish effective communication with skating directors, coaches, participants, parents, and arena staff to ensure seamless program execution.
- Deliver instruction in accordance with the Learn to Skate USA progression program.
- Experience in figure skating and learn to skate programming.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, coaches, skaters, and parents.
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Previous learn to skate instructor coaching experience.
- Knowledge of all levels and facets of the United States Figure Skating (USFS), Ice Skating Institute (ISI), and Learn to Skate USA curriculum.
- Membership in PSA, USFSA, LTS USA, and/or ISA.
