Ably Resources is seeking a seasoned Lead Geoscientist to become a vital part of their dedicated geotechnical team, managing a comprehensive global exploration portfolio.

In this essential position, you will be recognized as a leading authority, delivering crucial technical insights across a variety of projects. Your extensive knowledge in regional geological assessment will enable you to develop, evaluate, and propose innovative exploration strategies. Your adept data integration capabilities will play a key role in performing basin-scale analyses, assessing prospect risks, and conducting CRS mapping.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform integrated petroleum systems evaluations and regional geological assessments.

Develop innovative exploration strategies and evaluate risks from basin to prospect level.

Model source rocks, hydrocarbon generation, migration, and entrapment.

Identify and leverage emerging geochemistry and modeling technologies.

Provide technical guidance across a range of projects.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geochemistry.

15+ years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in international settings.

Expertise in petroleum systems evaluation and geochemistry.

Proficient in regional geology and concept development.

Experience with software such as Zetaware, basin modeling, Kingdom, and Petrel.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel internationally.
