Geoscientist - EG

Apache Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Geologist/Geomodeller to join our Geoscience team in Houston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, characterizing, and maturing conventional oil and gas development opportunities.

• Develop and maintain 3D static geocellular models to support subsurface studies.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined subsurface teams to integrate large datasets and provide volumetric assessments for field development plans.
• Deliver recommendations on behind-pipe, infill, coiled tubing candidates, and new drill opportunities.
• Work closely with Cairo staff to plan and prepare drill well proposals.

• MSc. in Geology or Geophysics.
• 7-12 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years of conventional development experience.
• Working knowledge of related subsurface disciplines, including petrophysics, petroleum geochemistry, reservoir engineering, and well economics.
• Seismic interpretation experience in complex structural regimes.

• Proficient to expert knowledge of Petrel.
• Geomodelling skills with a focus on field development and volumetrics.
• Proven prospect-generation and reservoir characterization skills.
