Position Overview

This role is accountable for overseeing the supply chain team within the designated facility. The individual will be responsible for formulating and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the product roadmap and operational objectives for the specified product category.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide direct leadership to Planners, Buyers, and S&R Supervisors within the assigned facilities.
  2. Ensure alignment, development, and resource management of all supply chain roles within the designated facility.
  3. Collaborate with Supply Chain Managers and Operations Managers to devise and implement a supply chain strategy that meets corporate goals for the facility.
  4. Oversee supply chain performance from customer order to delivery, including regular monitoring of KPIs such as PO performance, TO performance, Job performance, and S&R performance.
  5. Conduct root cause analysis to address part shortages, mitigate risks, and prevent recurrence within the facility.
  6. Manage overall inventory for the facility, including Inventory Value, establishing Inventory Stock Levels, and addressing Slow Moving/Dead Inventory and obsolescence of parts.
  7. Monitor Buyer expenditures, PCard purchases, and price discrepancies for the facility.
  8. Work with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of ECOs and the implementation of new products through the Product Realization process.
  9. Participate in manufacturing SIOP to ensure supply aligns with projected demand, overseeing production planning processes throughout the month.
  10. Reduce business risk by monitoring supplier performance and collaborating with Buyers and Sourcing to address performance gaps.
  11. Foster a positive work environment by communicating and collaborating effectively with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and management.
  12. Assist the company in achieving its Strategic, Quality, and Safety objectives.
  13. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Purchasing Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain or Operations, or a combination thereof.
  • Experience in at least two functions within Supply Chain.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with both direct and indirect employee groups.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in math, reading, and spelling.

Functional & Cognitive Requirements of Position

• This position requires significant walking, sitting, or standing.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push/pull up to 20 pounds.

• Must be capable of climbing ladders and/or stairs.

• Requires stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.

• Handling, feeling, and gripping may be necessary for certain tasks.

• This role may be subject to various internal and external environmental conditions.

• Ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions within a workflow context.

• Ability to communicate effectively with visitors and complete tasks under time constraints or productivity quotas.
