Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in overseeing the supply chain team within the designated facility. The individual will be responsible for crafting and implementing a holistic supply chain strategy that aligns with product planning and operational goals for the assigned product category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct leadership to Planners, Buyers, and Supervisors within the supply chain team.
  • Ensure alignment, development, and resource management for all supply chain roles.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations Managers to formulate and execute a supply chain strategy that meets corporate objectives.
  • Oversee supply chain performance metrics from order to delivery, including monitoring KPIs such as Purchase Order performance and Supplier performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address part shortages and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Manage overall inventory for the facility, including valuation, stock levels, and obsolescence.
  • Monitor purchasing activities and resolve discrepancies in pricing.
  • Work with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure timely processing of Engineering Change Orders and product introductions.
  • Participate in manufacturing SIOP to balance supply with projected demand and oversee production planning.
  • Assess supplier performance and collaborate with Buyers to address any performance issues.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Support the company in achieving its strategic, quality, and safety goals.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or Operations.
  • Experience in at least two functions within the Supply Chain.
  • Proven leadership skills with both direct and indirect teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as required.

Functional & Cognitive Requirements:
This position requires a significant degree of walking, sitting, or standing. The ability to lift and carry weights, climb ladders, and perform various physical activities is essential. The role also demands the capacity to learn new tasks, maintain focus, and make timely decisions within a workflow context.
