Job Summary

As a key member of the Rosewood Hotel Group, we are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen and kitchen personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Lead and motivate a team of skilled cooks, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Coordinate Purchasing and Inventory: Develop and implement effective purchasing and inventory management systems, ensuring minimal waste and optimal stock levels.
  • Develop Menus and Recipes: Create innovative and delicious menus, working closely with the culinary team to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure Compliance with Standards: Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
Requirements
  • Culinary Degree or Equivalent Experience: A degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
