Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our San Francisco team. As a BCBA at Kyo, you will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team, delivering high-quality ABA services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation: Direct Kyo client programs and manage staff implementation of ABA services, ensuring that each client receives a tailored treatment plan.
- Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise Kyo's Behavior Therapists and Program Supervisors, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest level of care for our clients.
- Client Communication and Progress Monitoring: Inform clients of behavior plans and goals, monitor and track progress, and communicate frequently with families, teachers, and staff about client needs and progress.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training to parents, professionals, and staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support our clients.
- Regional and Company-Wide Projects: Assist with regional or company-wide clinical or operational projects, contributing to the growth and development of Kyo.
- Certification and Education: Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and staff.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Responsiveness and Operational Skills: Outstanding responsiveness and operational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation, a valid state driver's license, and automobile insurance.
- Physical Abilities: The ability to regularly walk, kneel, crawl, bend, crouch, stand up from the ground, and sit on the floor or in child-sized chairs for extended periods of time.
- Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity to regularly use and enter data into a computer, tablet, or phone.
- Visual and Auditory Abilities: Specific vision abilities and auditory abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work is performed in a parent's/caregiver's home, a school or community location, or in a 'center' office and clinical environment. Work may be stressful at times due to client behavior or a busy office/center environment with patients, where interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
