You will also authorize and compute benefit payments, including Temporary Total Disability, Permanent Disability, and Life Pension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze Workers' Compensation claims and reports to determine compensability.
  • Authorize and compute benefit payments, including Temporary Total Disability, Permanent Disability, and Life Pension.
  • Investigate claims from onset to resolution, including reviewing and documenting claim reports from physicians.
  • Explain benefits and legal rights to injured workers under Workers' Compensation Laws.
  • Prepare subrogation and litigation cases, and correspond with doctors and attorneys on litigated cases.
Requirements

To be successful as a Claims Adjuster - Risk Management Specialist, you will need:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the past five (5) years, specializing in the adjustment of Workers' Compensation claims.
  • One (1) year of expertise in handling intricate litigated claims, such as continuous trauma, AOE/COE, stress claims, and safety claims.
