ICM Portfolio Management is on the lookout for a Portfolio Risk Manager.

Institutional Credit Management (ICM) plays a pivotal role in overseeing wholesale and counterparty credit risk. The Portfolio Risk Manager will collaborate with various departments to uphold superior risk management practices and controls. Key responsibilities encompass portfolio evaluation, risk detection, monitoring, and stress testing.

This role reports to the Global Head of Wholesale Credit Portfolio Monitoring and is tasked with overseeing portfolio monitoring for wholesale credit exposures. The focus will be on managing limits, defining risk appetite, and creating tools to identify emerging risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain consistent portfolio management practices
  • Engage with teams and stakeholders
  • Implement innovative Portfolio Monitoring strategies
  • Recommend remediation strategies for significant exposures
  • Collaborate with credit risk professionals
  • Challenge infrastructure for effective management reporting
  • Partner with global stakeholders to design metrics for Portfolio Health
  • Assist in talent retention and budget formulation
  • Support internal initiatives and projects
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Preferred: MBA, CPA, CFA, and formal credit training
  • 7+ years of experience in Banking or Credit Risk Management
Experience Requirements:
  • Strong risk assessment capabilities
  • Expertise in credit policy and risk principles
  • Understanding of risk and regulatory capital issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and leadership qualities
