About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, preparing patients, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI scans using a magnetic resonance imaging device
  • Prepare patients for scans, including positioning and setting imaging parameters
  • Perform computer processing and displaying images
  • Assist in developing protocols for patient studies
  • Perform quality control procedures on equipment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must maintain required hours of continued education
  • Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS)
  • Two years of experience in Radiography recommended but not mandatory
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or other relevant registries
