Job Summary

Danner's Inc., a leading provider of maritime transportation and security solutions, is seeking a skilled Security Installation Field Technician to join our team in Pasadena, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV surveillance systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on security systems, including inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and equipment
  • Ensure all systems are functioning properly and make necessary adjustments to prevent emergency calls and achieve zero call backs
  • Assist in the start-up and check-out of new system installations and present a professional image in personal and vehicle appearance
  • Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits, maintaining company propriety and documentation in accordance with established policies
Requirements
  • Must be age 24 or older to apply
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver's license
  • Must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write English
  • Must be employment eligible based on background requirements, including a criminal background check, clean MVR, and health/drug screen
  • Be dependable and willing to learn our fabrication methods and procedures
  • General knowledge of welding (e.g. mig welding) and ability to operate fabricating equipment, including press break, drill presses, bandsaws
  • Ability to provide back-up support to Video Department and operate a forklift and Skid Steer loader
  • Ability to pull a gooseneck or bumper pull trailer and use straps and loops to secure equipment and loads on trucks and trailers
  • Create and maintain a clean and safe work environment and strive to honor company core values: Gratitude, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, and Teamwork
  • 2-4 years background in structured cabling installation and video surveillance camera installation, permanent or temporary
  • Avigilon, Axis, or Genetec system knowledge preferred
Physical Demands
  • Lifting/Carrying up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Walking of distance
  • Standing for longer periods of time
  • Sitting for longer periods of time
  • Average/Good vision
  • Ability to climb ladders that extend up to 24' in height
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling
  • Other physical demands may be required as needed
