We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in North Wales.

Overview

A comprehensive psychological services role, providing support to students and staff in promoting positive learning environments and student success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years school psychology experience, with a Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field, and valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct Psychological Assessments: Evaluate students' cognitive, social, and emotional development to identify areas requiring support.
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create tailored plans for each student's academic and personal growth.
  • Counseling and Support: Provide guidance and therapy sessions to students and families, addressing various challenges and concerns.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to design and implement effective academic and behavioral interventions.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: In School Psychology or a related field.
  • State Certification/License: As a School Psychologist.
  • Active PA Clearances: Required for the position.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1+ years working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents.
