We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency setting and make a real difference in the lives of patients.
About the RoleThis ER RN position requires strong assessment and treatment skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring efficient delivery of emergency services.

Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Duration: 92 Days
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 days/week
- Provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients with emergent medical conditions in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary to address emergent needs.
- Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialty services.
- Educate patients and their families on post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and community resources for ongoing support.
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent ER RN experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
