Job Title: Echo Technologist
Overview
Catholic Health is a leading healthcare provider with a mission to deliver exceptional patient care. As an Echo Technologist, you will play a critical role in our team, performing echocardiogram studies and analyzing data to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for echocardiogram examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate echocardiogram equipment to capture high-quality images and data.
- Analyze echocardiogram data to identify normal and abnormal findings, recognizing complex congenital and pathologic conditions.
- Calculate echocardiogram data, including ejection fraction, valve gradients, and Doppler quantification.
- Enter data into our clinical system and transmit results to physicians for interpretation.
- Maintain a clean and equipped examination area, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
- ARDMS certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with patients.
- Standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling when needed.
Salary Range
USD - USD/Hr.
This salary range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
