Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Catholic Health is a leading healthcare provider on Long Island, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and experiences. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in our mission by performing a variety of CAT scan and MRI procedures with independence, ingenuity, and initiative.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce and evaluate CT/MRI images for technical quality, properly identifying images and patients, and effectively using judgment for protocols and procedures.
  • Adhere to St. Francis Hospital and departmental policies and procedures, as well as JCAHO/ regulatory agency requirements.
  • Demonstrate and promote service excellence at all times.
Requirements:
  • NYS radiographer's license
  • Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technology
  • Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography & MRI required
