About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dock Supervisor to oversee all activities on the outbound dock. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
  • Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices, and instructions from customers.
  • Assign duties to warehouse staff and monitor quality and quantity of jobs performed throughout the day.
  • Oversee progress on problem resolution and keep manager advised of progress or problems requiring attention.
  • Hold regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess group's overall status and provide responsible supervision and control for all department activities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance or related discipline or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • Minimum four years related experience; Minimum three years of industry experience, preferred.
  • Minimum one year of supervisory or management experience.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in dock operations.
