Position: Physical Therapist
Focus on Early Childhood Development
Work Schedule: 20 Hours per Week
Role Summary:
The Physical Therapist will deliver motor therapy services within a preschool environment, which encompasses comprehensive assessments, screenings, therapeutic interventions, and meticulous documentation of interactions with children and their families. This role also involves providing training to staff and families regarding physical development and suitable interventions. The therapist will implement gross and fine motor/sensory strategies tailored to the needs of children.
Compensation:
$44.82 per hour

At Community Partnership for Child Development, we serve over 1,500 children facing poverty or special challenges by offering early childhood education through various programs. Our extensive health, dental, and family support services are designed to prepare children for success in both academic and life pursuits. We are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community.
Important Note: Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination, TB screening, background check, and drug test (including marijuana).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT)
- Must obtain a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Licensure within 6 months of hire
- Familiarity with program policies, rules, and regulations is essential
- Proven ability to manage cases effectively
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client information
- Completion of required pre-employment screenings and background checks
- Access to reliable transportation and minimum liability insurance if using a personal vehicle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with low-income families and community organizations
