Job Title: Senior Solid Waste Engineer

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solid Waste Engineer to join our team in the waste market sector. As a key member of our Private Sector Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing technical support and project delivery to our solid waste clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solid waste management, with experience in project delivery, technical support, and client engagement. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement innovative solutions for our clients, and will be responsible for providing senior technical review of documents and attending client project meetings.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. If you have a passion for environmental engineering and a desire to work in a dynamic and growth-oriented company, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and project delivery to solid waste clients
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for clients
  • Provide senior technical review of documents
  • Attend client project meetings and lead client interaction
  • Prepare and review technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Engineering or Science (Civil, Environmental, or related field) required; MS degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of directly applicable experience in solid waste management
  • PE certification required in state of MA or ability to receive reciprocity
  • Knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulations
  • Excellent technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually
