Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Payroll Clerk. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to payroll services, payroll administration, payroll management, and payroll taxes. This includes processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments, maintaining employee records, and organizing payroll documents. The Payroll Clerk will also collaborate with the accounting team to ensure payroll data is accurately recorded in the company's financial records.

Responsibilities
  • Process payroll, including calculating salaries, benefits, and taxes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Organize and manage payroll documents and records
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate payroll data
  • Ensure compliance with payroll taxes and regulations
Requirements
  • Payroll Services, Payroll Administration, and Payroll Management skills
  • Knowledge of Payroll Taxes regulations and compliance
  • Experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in payroll software or systems
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the retail industry is a plus
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
