Job Summary

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adults and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to determine patient rehab potential and identify needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, setting goals and collaborating with patients and families to achieve them.
  • Provide direct patient care, including transfers, positioning, feeding, splinting, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Utilize equipment safely and effectively, maintaining logs and reporting any issues.
  • Follow medical regimens and adhere to precautions for patients with specific conditions.
  • Document patient progress and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Participate in team meetings, in-services, and student supervision as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and successful completion of the National Registry exam.
  • Current license in Occupational Therapy in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification and other required certifications.
  • Ability to accept management responsibilities as assigned.
