**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at SiteOne Landscape Supply. As a key member of our branch leadership, you will be responsible for leading our Agronomics team and working closely with customers to provide exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Branch Manager in developing and implementing sales and operations plans to drive business growth and profitability.
- Lead by example and promote a culture of safety and excellence within the branch.
- Develop and execute inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Train and develop agronomic staff to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to support customer needs and achieve departmental sales goals.
- Partner with branch leadership to identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve business performance.
- Support other branch departments and customers as needed.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in the green industry, preferably with a strong understanding of agronomic or lawn care maintenance products.
- Excellent customer service and management skills.
- Experience with sales and operations planning and forecasting.
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and budgets.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
