Cone Packing Specialist

As a Cone Packer at Joy Cone, you will be responsible for working primarily with machinery and assembly lines, ensuring the quality of cones, and feeding them onto the line. Your tasks will include making and sealing cases, operating the Jacket and Syrup Dispenser, sorting and stacking rows of cones onto cooling racks, and sealing cases and stacking them onto pallets. Additionally, you will be responsible for hand packing over-wrapped cones into cases and operating automated packaging equipment, such as flowrappers, cartoners, casepackers, case erectors, case sealers, labelers, X-Ray machines, and metal detectors.
Essential Functions:
Good attendance is required, and you must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. The job involves repetitive bending, turning, twisting, use of hands, and rotation of wrists. You will need to stand on your feet and/or walk between 5 and 8 hours per day. You must be able to detect audible tones and alarms, frequently communicate with coworkers in long and short distances, and keep a clean work area to ensure safety. You must also be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
