Job Summary:
AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a dynamic acute care setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Conduct physical therapy sessions, including exercises, modalities, and education.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.
- 1 year of experience in acute care, including ICU/CCU.
- Wound care experience is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
