Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Sales Representative to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $75,000, based on national averages for similar positions in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities
  • Meet dealership sales goals by selling new and used vehicles at a profit while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Greet customers and determine their vehicle preferences, then explain features and demonstrate vehicle operation.
  • Suggest optional equipment for customers to purchase and compute and quote sales prices.
  • Complete sales paperwork and arrange for vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Research vehicle availability and optional equipment to provide the best possible experience for customers.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's, bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in accounting, business, automotive, human resources, or information technology is preferred.
  • Prior sales and/or customer service experience is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for travel to and from company facilities and client locations.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products is expected.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel is crucial.
Work Environment

This position requires regular and predictable attendance, with scheduled shifts that may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Heavy standing work is also a requirement.
