We are seeking a skilled Animal Technician to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our animal care team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and well-being of animals in our vivarium facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily maintenance tasks, including cleaning and feeding animals, and monitoring room conditions.
- Identify and report animal care needs, and communicate with faculty regarding animal housing and husbandry issues.
- Assist in animal health screening programs, and perform treatments and administer medications as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and adhere to standard operating procedures for animal care.
- High school graduation or equivalent, and completion of training equivalent to the Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician certification of the AALAS.
- One year of animal care experience, or two years of experience in the care of an animal species appropriate to the particular job.
