We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Specialist to join our team at GovCIO. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing support at Rock Island, IL, and contributing to the success of our Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP).
Key Responsibilities- Perform in-depth research and analysis of emerging policy, regulations, directives, or industrial issues.
- Assist with the management of day-to-day operations, synchronization, and coordination for LOGCAP.
- Develop requirements packets, screen requirements for completeness and accuracy, and review, prepare, and coordinate draft staff actions and requests for information.
- Make recommendations on new or updated policy and procedures for the program.
- Consolidate reports, prepare Operations/Readiness Common Operating Picture (COP) briefs, and update and maintain operations files in SharePoint.
- Facilitate teleconferences and attend meetings, track contract milestones and schedules, and track performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
- Clearance Required: Secret.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing logistics and acquisition activities, and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in operations at the Brigade level or above.
