Job Summary

We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician I to join our Engineering Test Laboratory team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for testing and qualifying Trane Applied Compression and Commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the build, modification, and installation of developmental commercial HVAC equipment and components.
  • Support product development activities by operating commercial HVAC equipment, controlling test facilities, and collecting experimental test data.
  • Collaborate with senior laboratory staff to troubleshoot and repair Trane commercial HVAC technologies and equipment.
  • Assist in the installation and utilization of laboratory test equipment, including data acquisition systems, power analyzers, flow equipment, pressure, and temperature measurement devices.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electromechanical / Electrical Mechanical or 2-year equivalent degree program in Electromechanical / Electronics at an accredited school.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
  • Strong grasp of electronics principles and troubleshooting is preferred.
