Job Opportunity at Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority

We are seeking a licensed psychologist to join our team as a per-diem contractual employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments and testing for individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete psychological assessments for OBRA pre-admission screening and annual resident reviews
  • Administer psychological testing instruments, including the WAIS-IV, for guardianship hearings
  • Prepare interpretive reports and testify at court hearings

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in psychology, be licensed by the state of Michigan, and have specialized training or experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Compensation: $130 per assessment for OBRA evaluations and $80 per hour for testing and testimony

Qualifications: M.A. in psychology, licensed by the state of Michigan, specialized training or one year of experience in treating or working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
