Job Title: Senior Digital/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team at Omni Design Technologies Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance digital and mixed-signal ICs, with a focus on analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters. This role requires a strong understanding of digital design principles, Verilog RTL coding, and behavioral modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance digital and mixed-signal ICs, including analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters.
  • Develop and verify digital controllers for high-performance data converters.
  • Conduct behavioral modeling and customer support.
  • Assist with synthesis and place-and-route flow for digital controllers.
Qualifications:
  • BS + 4 years or equivalent experience in high-performance digital or mixed-signal IC development in advanced CMOS processes.
  • Deep knowledge of Verilog RTL coding, including state machines, adders, multipliers, and combinatorial logic.
  • Strong understanding of digital design for mixed-signal control loops and designing Verilog code to control analog circuits.
  • Familiarity with behavioral Verilog code, including wreals.
  • Ability to write thorough testbenches.
  • Preferred knowledge of synthesis tools, SystemVerilog, and assertions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with place and route tool flow.
  • Basic understanding of signal processing and MATLAB.
  • Extensive experience with synthesis flow in nano-meter scale CMOS.
  • Extensive experience with place and route flow.
  • Deep understanding of constraints, especially for mixed-signal designs, including multiple clock domains and clock gating.
