Mental Health Outreach Specialist

The Community Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing outreach strategies to recruit Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs), Licensed Counselors, and clients for Texas Care locations throughout the state of Texas. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in recruitment and community engagement, particularly within the healthcare or behavioral health sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement:
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to attract and engage potential clients for our behavioral health services for Texas Care locations throughout Texas.
• Conduct market research to identify client demographics and community needs.
• Work closely with internal teams and community partners to provide client referral sources and support local outreach efforts.
• Monitor and analyze client engagement metrics to ensure goals are being met, adjusting strategies as necessary. - Recruitment of Qualified Professionals:
• Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract QMHPs, Licensed Counselors, and other behavioral health professionals.
• Manage recruitment campaigns through digital platforms, social media, networking events, and traditional outreach methods.
• Attend community events, job fairs, and industry-related functions to recruit professionals and promote opportunities within our organization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce promotional recruitment materials such as brochures, job postings, and presentations. - Community Outreach & Brand Management:
• Ensure consistent messaging and adherence to brand guidelines across all outreach initiatives.
• Maintain a strong presence in the community by engaging with schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations.
• Promote the organization's services through online platforms, social media, and outreach events.
• Develop content for blogs, articles, and press releases to enhance brand awareness and highlight success stories. - Partnership Development:
• Establish and maintain relationships with key community stakeholders, including local mental health agencies, schools, and community organizations.
• Partner with healthcare providers and referral sources to increase client engagement and recruitment opportunities.
• Seek sponsorships or partnership opportunities to expand the organization's outreach efforts. - Reporting and Analysis:
• Track and report on recruitment and outreach activities, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Use data analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment and outreach campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Social Work, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in outreach, recruitment, or community engagement, preferably within the healthcare or behavioral health sectors.
- Skills:
• Strong understanding of Medicaid guidelines and behavioral health services.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, community engagement, or recruitment strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
