Role Responsibilities:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will conduct thorough health assessments, which include but are not limited to:

  • Gathering patient history and performing physical examinations
  • Reviewing medications and providing relevant instructions
  • Assessing home safety and psychosocial factors
  • Completing necessary documentation for quality measures
  • Documenting all relevant patient information on the same day of the visit, including medications and preferences regarding end-of-life care
  • Encouraging patients and their families to consult with you before seeking medical care, except in emergencies
  • Ensuring patient safety and confidentiality
  • Adhering to universal precautions in all patient interactions
  • Prescribing treatments and medications within your scope of practice
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families

Qualifications:

  • Current California licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum of one year of experience in primary care

Clinic Information:

  • Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
