Occupational Therapist Job Description

At Reliant Rehabilitation, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients in skilled nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including screening, evaluation, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to optimize patient functionality and skills.
  • Supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehab Techs in skilled tasks during group and individual treatment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and provide high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
