The MedSurg/Tele Neuro Acute 6N department is a 48-bed unit that specializes in providing medical-surgical care to patients with complex neurological conditions. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care and improving patient outcomes through collaboration, compassion, and innovation.

Responsibilities

\

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Additionally, you will need to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and families, and contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • \
  • A valid Arizona RN license\
  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting\
  • Level 1 trauma experience required\
  • BLS and ACLS certifications\
  • Familiarity with Cerner charting system\
  • Possibility of floating to Med surg/Tele floors\
  • Ability to pass DYS exam prior to accepting assignment\
  • Adaptability and flexibility\
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills\
  • Maintenance of accurate records\
  • Able to work effectively under pressure\
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills\
  • Strong organizational and time management skills\
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends\
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification\
