Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled Fiscal Assistant to join our team. As a Fiscal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our department's financial operations. This position requires strong bookkeeping and clerical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial documents, including invoices and payment records
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including spreadsheets and databases
• Provide financial support to staff, including processing payments and managing vendor relationships
• Develop and implement financial procedures and policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements

• Two years of experience in bookkeeping or clerical accounting
• Associate degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent combination of experience and training
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
