Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations Manager in managing the operational functions within the branch. This individual must possess strong organizational, supervisory, leadership, and managerial skills to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for conducting ongoing training on products and services, collaborating with the Operations Manager to prepare reports, and resolving complex matters related to client accounts and transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to prepare, accuracy, and timely transmittal of reports required by the Bank and/or regulatory agencies.
  • Resolve and handle complex matters related to client accounts, transaction activity, and employee handling of transactions.
  • Assist clients with inquiries and issues, complying with Bank regulations and policies.
  • Maintain internal controls to protect the Bank from potential risks.
  • Work closely with branch management to identify and implement effective solutions to recurring problems or concerns.
  • Approve checks and large cash transaction activity, sign cashier's checks, drafts, and other documents within assigned authority.
  • Develop and mentor staff consistently by training and establishing performance plans for employees.
  • Coach employees regularly, identify strengths and weaknesses, and deliver disciplinary action as needed.
  • Actively participate in branch management to attain business development goals.
  • Support teller and new accounts functions, operating a teller and/or new accounts desk as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years branch experience managing branch employees and/or managing sales or operations of the branch.
  • Preferred candidate must have 12 to 18 months of teller, new accounts, and sales experience.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to travel to various bank locations as needed.
  • Some Saturday hours are required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Requires repetitive movement.
  • Requires sitting for prolonged periods of time.
  • Requires lifting up to 25lbs.
  • Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects.
  • Office setting with controlled temperature.
