Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lignotech Florida LLC. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Participate in planned preventative maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Assist with spare parts management to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of replacement parts.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques and problem-solving tools to improve maintenance processes and reduce waste.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, departments, and international project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution.
  • Act as a proxy for the Maintenance Manager and provide support with site contractors, projects, and vacation coverage as needed.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of related work experience.
  • Completed certification, apprenticeship, or accredited technical education to qualify as a Millwright or equivalent.
  • Able to read diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Operate mandatory PPE and rigging equipment to install or repair equipment safely.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applying quality and problem-solving tools with impact on Key Performance Indicators.
  • Able to lead and execute projects effectively and efficiently in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in related fields of Bio-Fuel or Chemical processing.
  • Demonstrated ability in various welding applications.
  • Experience with SAP regarding PM activity planning and spare part ordering.
  • Knowledge of DCS operations; Delta V system or similar.
  • Associates degree or higher level of education.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge or related certification(s).
