We are seeking an experienced and polished lead host to join our team at Kaskaid Hospitality. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Responsibilities- Provide warm and sincere service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Check in all employees and highlight reservations on the Open Table system.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and process takeout orders.
- Ensure menus are clean and organized, and restrooms and the host stand are clean, stocked, and organized.
- Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience and work with management to ensure proper wait times.
- Utilize Open Table to capture important information about guests and review reservations to plan the shift.
- Work with the manager on the floor to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with management, servers, team members, and guests.
- Basic reading skills and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others and independently, and to organize and multi-task.
- Visual scanning of the restaurant to identify clean, unoccupied tables.
